David Wilhite, DDS, MAGD
Dr. Wilhite brings you 28 years of experience in dentistry. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, graduating in 1980. For his post-graduate training, he received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, and was then presented the Mastership Award, a prestigious honor earned by no more than one percent of dentists in the nation. It signifies Dr. Wilhite has taken more than 1,100 additional hours of continuing education in a variety of disciplines in dentistry. The Texas Academy of General Dentistry recently nominated Dr. Wilhite, for the second time, for their Dentist of the Year award. He was nominated in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for Texas Super Dentist in Texas Monthly magazine. In addition, he has been nominated Dentist of the Year in D Magazine.
The State of Texas requires dentists to take only twelve hours of continuing education each year, but Dr. Wilhite chooses to enhance his knowledge by taking at least 100 hours annually, sometimes up to 250 hours. He has studied at the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, learning major restorative dental techniques, and how to solve TMJ and bite-related problems. In October 2005, Dr. Wilhite was inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Dentists (ACD). This fellowship reflects his involvement, achievements, and leadership in the dental profession and community. In 2006, he was inducted as a Fellow into the International College of Dentists (ICD). In 2007, he was inducted as a Fellow into the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Wilhite is highly regarded among his peers, and has served for several years as a consultant on the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. He was elected for a second 4-year term on the Texas Dental Association's Peer Review Council where he is currently serving his 7th year as Chairman. As a member of this council, Dr. Wilhite reviews appeals from local dental societies' peer review committees, and based upon his opinion, and that of the other members of the council the cases are resolved. Dr. Wilhite has been married to his wife, Streak, since the '70s, and together they have two children. Their daughter Heather graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. She and her husband Mike live in Dallas. Their son Brandon is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He also lives in Dallas.

Nancy - Office Manager
Nancy has been the office manager since 1983. She enjoys attending practice management seminars and workshops. She believes there is always an opportunity to learn something new and if not, at least have the chance to revisit old ideas and be recharged.
One of Nancy's goals; "The team should truly enjoy each other so patients will feel comfortable and relaxed. Our team is devoted to the practice and committed to delivering the best dentistry possible to our patients."
Heather - Public Relations Director
Heather was born and raised in Dallas and has a true love for North Texas. She is an avid supporter of the local community. She frequents the local farmer’s markets and tries to do business with local people whenever possible. She handles all marketing, advertising and public relations duties for the office. In addition, she makes sure that our Plano dental office is a warm and inviting place for our patients. Heather and her husband, Mike, enjoy entertaining friends, traveling and cooking.
Neva - Front Desk
Neva has been in dentistry in the Plano community for 30 years. She handles the front desk; answering the phone, scheduling appointments, working with insurance companies and all the other clerical duties required in keeping things running smoothly. Her main goal is to know our patients on a personal level and to make them feel at home when they are here.
She has two grown children, Ken and Kari, 6 wonderful grandchildren & 1 precious great granddaughter. Neva's hobbies are singing in the church choir, quilting, and spoiling her Shih Tzu puppy, Fancy.
Dorothy - Registered Dental Assistant
Dorothy is a native of Poland. She moved to the United States in 2003. She first lived in Tampa, FL but soon moved to the Dallas area. Prior to becoming a registered dental assistant, Dorothy worked in the restaurant industry. Both careers have allowed her to do what she loves best - work with people. Dorothy loves the dental field and the ability it gives her to help others. She always makes sure that our patients feel comfortable in our office. Dorothy and her husband Phillip enjoy spending their free time watching movies and traveling.
Elena - Registered Dental Hygienist
Elena was born in Russia and moved to Texas 14 years ago. She graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Science. She feels blessed to have two healthy children and a wonderful husband. Elena loves to travel with her family, go to movies and enjoys spending time with friends.
Elena loves to provide dental hygiene services to a broad range of people from small children to mature adults. She gets very excited about treating patients with periodontal disease because of the really positive impact she has on their lives by helping them change their dental hygiene habits.
Dr. Wilhite serves the following areas in Texas: Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Dallas, Richardson, Mckinney, and Allen Texas.
